This material is UV-resistant, weather-resistant, and is virtually maintenance-free. We are proud to offer products made of recycled PVC that have been repurposed which reduces the carbon footprint of this Nappa Screen. The posts and upper and lower rails are made of powder-coated aluminum providing you with stability, long-term rust resistance, and anti-weathering. Our state-of-the-art WoodTek vinyl is comprised of material that resembles and feels like natural wood but is premium-grade vinyl. You don’t have to worry about painting, maintaining, or staining. The only tool required for an approximately 90-minute assembly of the 2 panels is a cordless drill and a mallet for a no-dig installation (for the harder ground we recommend using an auger). We want to keep your yard looking as pristine as possible, so we aim to eliminate any sort of digging or concrete. The distance between the panel’s slats is roughly ¾” which makes it perfect for providing you with privacy around patios, decks, or porches while also promoting efficient airflow around air conditioning units. When installed, the distance between the ground and the bottom slat is less than 2 inches meaning dogs, cats, and children will not be able to crawl underneath it. Exactly what I was looking for on my deck for privacy from nosy neighbours. It could be held up with string or zip ties to railing if needed but I am happy with overall quality and price for what I got...should last a long time if I bring it inside in winter....I also fold it up and keep it under soffit when it rains, only put it up when it's sunny out, but that works since that is only time I am on deck and need privacy :). These are really nice privacy screens. They are a nice design and provide a nice amount of screening. The paint is plenty thick and has a nice powder coat finish to it, which helps in the protection of the paint.
