Gerber isnt as well-known a brand as some others, but when I was shopping for fixtures for a full bathroom, it was carried by a local, highly-respected plumbing supply store, and I wound up choosing them for their design. Just installed this dreamline sliding shower door. We needed an option without a top rail because of the unusual structure of our bathroom. The bay window would not allow for a top rail install and the bathroom was too small for a pivot style door. This slider worked great. My only complaint is that the slider has a little too much play in the top glider and so rattles a bit. We plan to reduce the clearance with a thicker piece of rubber to eliminate that issue. We also have not been able to determine how to properly drain the inner channel. It seems to hold standing water after shower use. Could be user install error. Overall a great product.. Colette. We liked the brushed nickel as it doesn't show fingerprints or soap spots as much! This was very easy to install, had all the necessary parts included, and liked that it included the plate for perfect match. I do think it was unnecessarily tall. A few inches shorter and it still would've been great. It's nice when having to do large tasks in the kitchen sink like washing large soup pots or even pup baths for the shih tzus! I love the look of the sliding doors. They don't have a clunky metal frame on other side so there isn't extra to clean or anywhere for dirt to collect.
