The 4-cup espresso and cappuccino machine uses a steam/boiler to quickly heat water until steam is produced. The steam creates pressure to force the water into the filter holder and through the coffee grounds to brew the espresso directly into the glass carafe. When the espresso has reached the bottom line marking on the glass carafe, you can stop the brewing and switch to frothing milk. When you finish frothing, turn the selector switch back to the coffee brewing position. The powerful steam/boiler reduces warm-up time to less than 2 minutes, producing 2 to 4 cappuccinos or lattes in less than 5 minutes.

Love this pressure cooker! I've been using an aluminum PC for years, but recently changed to an induction cooktopand needed an induction compatible PC. It's easy to close the lid securely, to tell when pressure has been achieved, and to quick release the pressure. Yes, it's expensive, but I'll have it the rest of my life and pass it on when I die. Short press which allows you to switch from steam to hot water, long press brings you into the setting menu. The right button is the double cup function. Coffee can be extracted in 2 different ways: 1. Using the preset functions available, the extraction will start and stop automatically when the set quantity is reached for single or double cup, it is possible to customize both lengths of the preset function. 2. Manually, by using the lever switch. To start the extraction, move the lever switch upward. Once you reach the desired quantity you can stop the coffee extraction by moving the lever downwards. In both cases, during the extraction the display will show the shot timer. Steam/hot water activation: Both steam and hot water are dispensed from the steam wand. To change from steam to hot water and vice versa the user can press the central button. The display will light up the dedicated icon once the thermoblock is at the set temperature. To deliver steam or hot water you can rotate the knob counterclockwise. To enter the settings menu press the steam/hot water selector for 5 seconds.
