We finished our basement and put this niche in the wall opposite the bottom of the stairs into the basement. The niche holds holiday decor, like this photo taken at xmas, and a Chiparus dancer bronze sculpture in between holidays. It fit in the wall perfectly and adds a great accent to our downstairs rooms. The color was lighter than pictured (which actually ended up working for us). However after it was installed, I found out it doesn’t hold up to a basic wet cloth wipe down. The color was taken off of the area I had used a wet cloth on. Since I had bought this for my bathroom, I have concerns with how it will hold up over time as well. I am likely going to have to find some similar color paint and have to paint it (which I could have found a cheaper white shelf option if I had known I would have to repaint it anyway).. Amanda. Maybe I didn’t read it. Good enough I don’t know, and I just assume that all of these gas heaters had blowers Did not have one so now I’m stumped. How do I get a blower in that?
