The backing peels off easily and smooths out nicely but if it doesn’t line up the first time it is easy to peel up however doing so stretches the wallpaper and it makes it harder to line back up. Good news it’s super forgiving. Areas it where it overstretched I strategically cut and smoothed. You can’t tell! Looks great but was time consuming to put up.
