From what I have read it takes up to 4 days to fully inflate but even a day in we are super happy with it. Soft enough to sit on for hours but firm enough to not sink. As for size, I am 6ft 3 and me and my girlfriend can easily both spread out on this thing so it’s a win in that regard. We really like these chairs! We were skeptical, as most things we get from this site seem poor quality. But I like these chairs!! My only disappointment is that the pink color is so faint. I would prefer a richer, more saturated color. I add pillows to take care of that. The thing I like most about these is that I can sit up straight instead of being forced to lean back which puts my back into a spasm. We have expensive chairs from Dania that kill my back and I can barely walk when I get up from sitting in them. These pink chairs feel fantastic. The Chihuahua is in 7th heaven because we bought two of these- we now have four chairs and four footstools which means the dog has his choice of chairs now, too, and doesn’t always want to sit in my lap when I watch TV.
