The good is that this product installed on the matching door looks awesome. The bad is this product is actually required if ordering the matching door which was advertised as “prehung”. The door most certainly is not pre-hung and requires these casing pieces as a separate purchase to complete installation. It would be practically impossible to fabricate your own casing since the finish on the door and trim is a sort of rubbery veneer and the frame is slotted to accept this product specifically. So just know the door will be a couple hundred dollars more and be a timely installation when compared to a real pre-hung door. I am happy enough with the installed result to give it 4 stars though.. For the past few months, I’ve been updating all the doors in my home, switching them from white to black. When I came across this door, I decided to order it for my closet to add a different design and save myself from having to paint another one. I’m so happy with how beautiful this door is, it completely elevated the look of my closet! It’s such a simple change, but it made a big difference. This is a great door and exactly as pictured and what I needed for my bathroom linen closet. I haven’t been able to hang it yet due to not having the tool to cut the hole for the door handle and hinges but the door came in perfect condition and is primed nicely.
