I’ve owned the fridge for about 3 weeks and it is a solid upgrade. PROS: It looks great and elevates the look of the kitchen to gourmet. The water/filter quality is top tier and the auto sense fill feature saves time when filling up a glass or a measuring cup. And of course it chills and freezes nicely with features that boost the capability for special circumstances such as installation or recovering from a power outage. CONS. It’s missing a few “normal folks” features that I’ve enjoyed over the years and that I would expect for the cost. 1. It is massive and takes 4-6 people to deliver it; annotate that during delivery or they won’t send enough people to get it off the truck. Also, installation and haul away aren’t included. Be prepared to pay a few hundred extra. 2. The door isn't magnetized - so it won’t hold a magnet. 3. so far it is keeping cold. the freezer space is cut down with the extra ice maker,if i leave it off and use the extra room, i am in fear that the ice may not start working again. i really like it,but it might not start working if it is left off to long. so i have been informed by LG. The water filter assembly could be improved. mine broke and had to be replaced right after the purchase Sometimes when replacing the filter the bypass switch won't shut and then it sprays water inside the refrigerator .. 22tcmboy.
