It’s a beautiful shower door. Heavy. I was hesitant on ordering based on a couple of the low reviews. We didn’t install it ourselves our contractor did. It was difficult to find the shower door I wanted for our tiny bathroom and this was perfect. kit# 2 luxury shower surrounds for the DIY enthusiast in pre-cut kits for common shower wall sizes. These panels are lightweight, easy to carry, cut, and fabricate. Cutting can be done with a skill saw, angle grinder, jigsaw, etc. To fabricate you can use a Dremel tool, miter, etc. We suggest using Loctite power grab ultimate adhesive or boss 125 adhesive to adhere panels to the walls but compatibility to the other substrates might need testing. We suggest using 100% clear silicone to glue the trim to the panels. We suggest applying the adhesive to the panel, applying circle blobs of caulking about 6”-8” apart throughout the sheet. We also suggest applying 100% silicone, about a ¼” continuous bead around the panel outside edges to ensure a good edge seal and prevent moisture or debris from getting behind the panel.

These are very sturdy thick glass shower doors. They arrived with no chips or cracks despite the box being a little banged up. They are very heavy and are carried best by two people, however I can move them myself. I haven’t been able to install them because I was missing some of the black hardware. I did attach the handle which seems a little light weight for the weight of the glass but I think once it is on the track it will be fine. Overall I am impressed with the quality of the glass and the packaging from the company. I would have given 5 stars if I would have received all the hardware. The item arrived quickly and in impeccable condition. Contains 2 packages one of the shower base and the other for the doors. The doors are extremely heavy! I am still waiting for the contractor to install, but I can already say it is a very well-made high-quality shower door that will add a touch of luxury to any bathroom.
