I love this little machine. Picks up real well one button press and you have your hand vac. Keep in mind this is not a full size vacuum cleaner it is an auto broom. The cup is small but powerful. If I was to change anything it would be the cup size. Make it a little bigger. I have 3 cats and two full size Aussies, that is why I love my Electrolux. I received my Dyson Air Purifier/ Humidifier as a tenure gift from my employer. I’ve had it about 7 weeks and very happy with my selection. I use it in my small 10x10 bedroom and it makes the room significantly cooler and the air fresher. It is very quiet and does not bother my sleeping at all. I did have some concerns with the humidifier not working, but after a little online research I didn’t have the humidity setting high enough. This is my third Dyson Animal. I keep one upstairs that is 10 years old and this new stand one I am keeping downstairs. I am very satisfied with Dyson vacuums. The suction power is excellent. I like the adjustable carpet level and a longer court, which my older Dyson does not have. It is a heavier, vacuum and many others on the market, but I have found that the lighter vacuums do not have the suction power that the Dyson does, so the weight of the vacuum is of no significant consequence to me. Very lightweight and flexible and easy to handle. Has strong suction power. Very easy to assemble and very quick. It worked out the box for 30 plus minutes then charged for 4.5 hrs minimum. I charged it overnight. Went through the house on my hardwood floors like a breeze to pick up pet hair. Lights be floor in front which is a great plus! Emptying was easy. This is a great vacuum. It’s the perfect size and easy to store. Easy to maneuver around. I love that it is rechargeable and no cord to drag around. It extends to make it taller or shorter in length. I also really like that the top is removable and has parts to use it in tight, small spaces. The only reason I have it 4 stars is because of battery life. This is my first stick vacuum, so I don't have anything to compare it to. I would give the suction 3 stars and the features 5 stars. I love the charging stand, I'm glad it doesn't have to go on the wall. It's also light and gets into corners easily. However, it doesn't easily suck up thing like Cheerios and chocolate chips that my toddler leave behind. That part is frustrating. I still need a broom to pick up larger items.. Douglas.
