I finally got around to installing this exhaust fan to replace one that was almost 30 years old and I’ve got to say that I was really impressed by how simple the process was. Super quiet. I only wish I’d checked the wiring diagram. To work the nightlight, fan, and regular light all separately you’re gonna need 3 switches in your bathroom. We only had two and we installed extra lights above the shower so we went with one switch to work the shower lights and one that works both the fan and light together. There is no way to directly control the light andor fan function directly through a wall switch. You are only able to turn on and off via the remote, which makes this feel incredibly cheap and inconvenient for a guest who may not know how to use the remote. MrSteam Remote temperature probe used to accurately read the temperature inside the steam room and send it to the controller.

You will not be receiving this product as pictured. The pictured item is the sensor probe for their commercial stream generators. The residential stream generator only comes with the probe, no metal housing/ grill. Mr. Stan expects you to put the probe within your grout....so not sure how this would work down the road if you ever needed to service or replace this probe...rip out your grout? Also, you'd need to consider your spacing in your grout where you'd be placing this probe. Wish I knew ahead of ordering and then requesting replacement which arrived like the first, no housing/grill.
