We don’t have a lot of wall space so we don’t have a tv in our living area. I wanted something that would allow me to incorporate a tv when necessary but stow it when not required. I chose this bc it wasn’t expensive. It could have been great had the designer added two holes for cables going from the top where the tv is and below where the 4 outlet strip is. Instead, the cables are exposed and tied down in the back. They could have been channeled down through the stand. Perhaps I can find someone to MacGyver it. Also, in hindsight sight, a shelf below the tv would have allowed for better control of a DVD player by remote. Easy enough to put together in spite of incorrect parts. I'm really enjoying this so far. I've got it working with SmartThings which means it's working (okay) with Google Home. All five of my RF fans work with this device. I would say signal is sent to those devices correctly 95% of the time. I have found that if I accidentally misclick, it is better if I count to 10 before making the correct choice. Is it perfect? No. But it is extremely helpful. These are things I was ready for, but some other buyers might not be ready for. This is an RF controlling device. While it makes some devices a little easier to use it does not make those devices "smart". If you have someone who likes to use the remotes a lot, the app will show incorrect settings for those devices that have changed with the remote. This does not bug me, but for someone who is not ready for that, make sure you understand what this device is first. I highly recommend Bond. This is an affordable way to use what you already have. Less devices in the landfill for replacements, and a pretty great way to control my devices from my phone.
