This is my second attempt at buying/using an ice maker. The first time I never worked and that’s bc it was a very poorly ventilated mobile home in Florida and the heat was too much. Now, I’m in a ‘regular’ home and thought I’d give it another’s try with this model and low and behold, this thing cranks out the ice non-stop and you don’t need to stand their while it’s doing it but it helps bc you do want to put the ice in your freezer - I used a metal mixing bowl and filled it to the top in mere minutes. It’s very easy to use, just pour water in, plug it in and about 9 cubes every 6 minutes as it states is true. I’m very pleased and I would whole-heartedly recommend this product fully.. Dean. Nice mini fridge that fits perfectly in space built for 25 year old U-Line I had to replace. This is my second one as the first GE compressor died after only 5 years. Cost effective to just replace the entire unit and get the extended warranty. Plenty of room, nice interior setup and glass shelves make cleaning easy. Keeps everything very cold. Only downside is it is not self defrosting. The defrosting process takes about two hours which I do about every six months. Great product for the price. Plumbing it in is the hardest part, after that, the ice machine immediately started to make ice and had made its first batch within minutes!
