Wanted to upgrade our over the stove microwave and found this LG one. I love the slide out vent option. It really does get rid of steam and oil smoke from the front burners. It will help when we change to a gas range and oven. Other reviews stated issues with the side out function. I see no issues with the durability. Just don’t lean on it or put things on it. Power is amazing and food cooks quickly and evenly. Some others disliked that the screen goes blank until you open the door. I don’t notice this as an issue. You have to open the door to put your food in first. The only time it requires opening is to use the timer function. We are very impressed with the look, features, quality and price. I love this cabinet. It worked perfectly with two other pantry cabinets I already had. I used this one in the center. I gave it 4 stars for 2 reasons. 1. The lights are only colored lights and there is no neutral white light. 2. There is a large hole in the center of the back to run cords. But it isn’t necessary, because it has the usb and electrical plugins on the surface of the unit. The hole needs something tall in front of it to cover it. Would be easier if the hole wasn’t there!.
