Honestly, YUCK. This rug looks like it was in a flood, then stored in a dusty attic for ten years. While the base color looks white/light beige/gray in the photos, it looks like an aged yellowy tan in real life. I tried to get a photo of this color difference, but it photographs light like in the photos, so I can't tell if it's just a my specific rug color issue, or all of them. The feel of the rug was also unpleasant. I walk barefoot everywhere, but it was an unpleasant, crunchy feeling. That's even after running my cordless vacuum over it three times and having a completely full bin of lint each go. I normally love Safavieh rugs, and have had great success with them in the past (and since this, my new living room rug from them is great), but this one misses the mark.. Rebecca. Bartlesville, OK. I was very excited to finally order this rug for my new family room after admiring it for months. It really is a beautiful piece and I love the unique combination of neutral colors. It goes well with my modern farmhouse style. With that said, there weren’t many reviews when I purchased it so I knew I was taking a gamble. One of the few existing reviews did mention that it was easily pulled by pet paws and I do see that being an issue down the road. It actually came with several loose spots (examples included in photos). It doesn’t take away from the look, but does make me nervous regarding how it will hold up in our family room. I was able to manipulate some of the loose threads to make them less noticeable. It survived the first day of cat and toddler usage, but only time will tell if it was truly worth the money.. Dana. Overall I'm very happy with this purchase. I was looking for a wide runner in this woven style but was unable to find anything close to the 3' width I wanted. Being fairly good at diy projects, I decided to order two of the 3' x 5' Akihiro Geometric in green and pull the weaving on one end of each rug and knot them together to make a 10' runner. In my mind I was thinking, "This shouldn't be too difficult" haha. Well, it ended up being a painstaking project that I worked on for most of the weekend. Looking back, I would have chosen an easier way to do this than to individually knot each strand from each rug (see pic). I also should have paid closer attention to matching up the design as i pieced them together. Overall I'm satisfied, and the rug feels really nice to stand on during my long hours in the kitchen. The 3' width, and finsl 10' length provides comfort all down the length of my galley-style kitchen (look at the pic of the rug on my floor and you'll see how the final seam turned out). I placed a slip resistant material underneath, which also provides additional cushioning. I plan on spraying with a waterproofer or protector of some sort to help alleviate stains since it's now too large to machine wash. I love the design, color, and quality. Definitely recommend (though not recommending my diy project). I would not hesitate to purchase these rugs again, and definitely recommend them.. Renee. OH. Sun Mar 12 2023
