Although the chair is gorgeous visually, it's pretty uncomfortable. Yes, adjustments to height, back position and arms can be made, but the seat is just plain hard, as is the back. I immediately added cushions. If the seat were tilted so that the thighs weren't sloping down, I would not have to prop my feet up on lifts. The chair fits my kitchen counter. I like the back on it and that it swivels. It was easy to put together right out of the box. Reason for 4 stars-the seat has the seam at the front, I would think it should be at the back. In order to do so you would have to remove the seat back and drill a new hole.
