These Hevea butcher block countertops were just what I wanted for my new office. They were well packaged and arrived without damage. A few coats of matte poly were easy to apply. So only used it twice as it was delivered 2 days ago. The dishes came out spotless. I'm still experimenting with how much detergent to use as the instructions say "a moderate amount." I think 1-1/2 Tablespoons will be about right. It fits nicely on my very small counter space next to the sink. I have a quick connect adapter with a diverter for the kitchen faucet for an easy water source although I could also fill the water tank as an alternative and this machine automatically detects which water source you chose. So far I'm very happy with this countertop diswhasher. It's perfect for one or 2 people. The run time is an hour with an additional hour for drying so I turn it on at night when I'm done with the sink or just before bed. It's perfect for my senior downsizing life. I was specifically looking for a 24” x 24” square table for my small apartment, and this worked perfectly for creating a small dining area. The top feels solid, and I paired it with a table base from another seller since this is just the tabletop. The finish wasn’t quite what I expected, but it’s still nice overall. Also worth noting that only one side is finished—the bottom is unfinished. Mine looks similar to the darker wood shown in the first two photos.
