Just perfection, I love it. I have been looking a several different lights for our side room. I wanted something big and bold but not bulky, also something classic I would still like down the road. Found it! I would say it was a little more difficult to install than the steps made it seem. My husband knows electric and still took us about an hour. I added a larger base at the top that I got somewhere else. It goes under the base of the light to add some more dimension. I really love it so much. The price was incredible, I did lots of research on chandler’s and I still can’t believe how good the price point is (look out for a sale too) The black is a true matte black, I used 40 watt chandler bulbs as they said that’s the highest you can go and it’s nice and bright. After a month of moderate usage in a sun-light/UV protected space, by 2 people w/no animals i will unfortunately have to change the initial 4.5 star rating to a 2.5 star rating for the following reasons: 1) the chair back & w/recliner extended is designed to comfortably accommodate a person under 5'9" - works for me at 5' but not my husband @ 6'. 2) the recliners foot-leg rest only extends to full-out - there is no partial or 1/2 way for the leg extension. 3) on both chairs, the leather on the head-rest & seat-back & the seat cushions very quickly/prematurely began drooping/sagging, wrinkled & starting to show a crack/split appearance (that is not due to years of age as would be expected) and is only getting worse over time. The price-point for these at the time was reasonable & on paper the 'look' & description of them seemed to be the perfect fit to enhance our Great Rooms furniture suite; unfortunately the quality of these recliners materials & the size/mechanical limitations are disappointing and will not meet the hoped for expectations for comfortability w/a quality handsome appearance or the quality of durability & long wear. - sv. The chairs are very beautiful and look very elegant. However, they do have some flaws. The sides did come with some leather damage. The legs had some nicks, and the back flap looks unfinished when the back is exposed to view. In my opinion the back could use some extra velcro to lay the flap flat against the chair. That takes away from the quality of this elegant chair, hence why I gave it a 4. This order also had some extraordinary delays in delivery. So, we had to wait more time than expected. Then upon delivery they had the damages I described were found. At the present time I am waiting to hear from the seller to see what can be done. I will post an update. looking for something that fit my husband who is 6’3. He needed the extended foot rest. It’s fairly comfortable.
