Super soft and the no slip backing is pretty good. I like the long runner I bought as the pattern - which is kind of busy - has space to breathe. The colors are a bit more purple than I thought but overall it works in my kitchen. The smaller one I bought (18 x 24) is not as great as the pattern fels cluttered. My client LOVES these rugs. We added runners on either side of the bed in her master bedroom remodel since she has cats and being able to quick throw the rug into the wash any time was what she wanted. These are washable and so soft. The colors are perfect and look great with the new deep purple velvet drapes we added to the room after these pics were taken.
