I chose this rug for outside on an enclosed patio. The colors were just as shown in the picture. It is a "print" so the color is mainly on top of the rug and not throughout the rug as if it were woven. I love it for now and hope I will once I wash it (that is a nice feature that it's washable). Beautiful colors and design! Extremely soft and smooth. Lovely smooth texture underfoot —my kids kept petting it! Does not shed or smell. I took off one star because it is VERY thin. We added a rug pad under it (one-third inch thick), and it is cushier now, but for the price, I would’ve preferred not to have to buy a rug pad too.
