We added a rug pad under it (one-third inch thick), and it is cushier now, but for the price, I would’ve preferred not to have to buy a rug pad too. Lovely, very soft, looks just as pictured. Update: I didn't mention that the coloring is just on the top, the threads are not colored. So the life may be shorter.
