Pillow protector appears to be very well made. UPDATE: Washed for 1st time and found stitching on one case completely undone leaving a 3 inch hole that needs to be repaired. Seems completely airtight moisture resistant. Instructions stated to be sure pillow and protector are completely dry before zipper closed. This will prevent possibility of mold growth. Haven’t washed yet but it appears sturdy enough to resist the hot water washing that is recommended. This was such a great use for my money that I earned from Wayfair! I needed pillow inserts and the price was perfect!
