In my photo you can see the 4 inch box spring that I chose for my queen bed. I'm so glad I didn't go with the 2-in nor the 6-in, this one falls right in the middle and is just right for me. I also didn't want a metal box spring because metal attracts EMFs, and although at an extremely low amount I still am not a comfortable with metal box springs. My partner and I have been using this split frame for a few months now and we love it. This is our first hollow box spring after living with an old coil box spring for so long. Though there are definitely differences, we sleep just as well on it. These work just as good as our box frame that was 6” thick! (We got a new bed frame that would’ve raised the mattress up too high). Our virgin polystyrene beans are 100% recyclable. Each bag contains 100 liters of rejuvenating beans. The number of beans you need will depend on the size of your chair and how flat it is: small chairs may need 1-2 bags, while giant chairs may require more. For child safety and durability reasons, all big Joe bean-filled chairs have two zippers with their pulls intentionally removed before shipment. To open your big Joe, place a paperclip into the first zipper head, pull to open, and then repeat on the second zipper. Detailed instructions can be found on the warning label attached to your Big Joe. And, you can use our refill packs for other reasons: packing material, arts and crafts, you name it!

Turned out I did not need these and unfortunately they were thrown over the fence where the dogs ripped open the box. What a nightmare for my daughter!
