Venice is known for many things, the canals, the plazas, and of course the cafes. Though founded in the mid-1800s, Cafe Venezia remains a functioning establishment to this day. This wall clock is a replica of one that hung behind the counter and is framed in a hand-painted steel antiqued copper rim and glass bezel. The brass finish pendulum adds a touch of elegance to this beautiful clock.

This is a very pretty clock. I got the one with the darker face...the black background. It is not as bright as it is pictured in the write up on the website. I do not think I would have bought it if I had seen it in person, but it is pretty, and I have it hung so I will keep it. I do love the pendulum. Some people had complained about loud ticking...I hear no ticking at all. It keeps good time. I think you would like it, just be aware it is not a bright clock. Perfect for a den or a study. The Hotel Pasquier was one of the more elegant small hotels located on the Left Bank in Paris. It's now long since closed, but its spirit lives on in this elegant wall clock. The clock face is presented in a hand-painted steel frame, antiqued copper rim, and glass bezel. The brass finish pendulum adds a touch of elegance to this beautiful clock.
