Very pleased with the awning. Fits the space just right. Assembly was not overly difficult but the instructions could have been a bit more detailed. I looked at several videos related to assembly of the out sunning awnings and even though they were not for this exact awning it helped immensely. I was able to do the complete assembly by myself but needed help to lift the awning into place on the brackets. I mounted the brackets in the rim joist between the first and second floors... as such I needed to purchase some lag screws as the anchors provided with the awning were suited more to mounting on brick or concrete. The mounting brackets are powder-coated aluminum and the hardware is stainless steel, providing additional support to the durable frame. The awning fabric cover and valance are woven out of the Beauty-Mark branded 100% acrylic fabric and have resistant coatings to help (1) maintain its rich color while being exposed to harsh UV rays, (2) prevent mildew and soil buildup, and (3) maintain a water-resistant barrier allow for rain to roll off of the awning and not soak through the fabric. It is recommended that the awnings are used only during sunny weather and to avoid the use of the awning during poor weather conditions such as rain, snow, high winds, etc. The performance of awning is durable and can withstand high winds up to 35km/h. Received my 16ft awning and installed today. Looks like excellent quality and everything worked as expected. No adjustments were necessary. Very satisfied with my purchase so far. The only issue was with the local delivery service which kept cancelling at the last moment. Not Wayfairs fault at all but they kindly gave me a discount to compensate, which I appreciate.
