Exactly as expected. Strong, high quality mailbox that arrived quickly. Installation: Easy to attach to a mounting plate using the holes on the bottom of the exterior sides. It’s petty heavy, so be sure to attach to a strong post - I got the Gibraltar Landover post (which is actually hollow) and slid it over a 4x4 sunk 17” into the ground which is 30” above ground (so the 4x4 is a total of 47”). It looks great and was definitely worth the money to upgrade from the low-quality, dented mailbox that the prior owners had chosen. I got custom decals elsewhere to finish the look.. Marion. It's beautiful but quite disppointed that it arrived dented and there is paint missing where it is dented. The dent also created a gap on the from of the mailbox. Also, the description said it came with the post. After waiting over a month for the mailbox to arrive, it arrived without the post and dented.
