This is my 2nd time purchasing these recessed LED lights. Love how simple they are to install and with just a small box vs. canned lighting they can be used in tight places. I wanted a light in specific place in the bathroom we're remodeling, but the location was right off of a beam. This fixture is perfect. It’s easy to install and worked right away. The only thing that would be helpful is if the junction box came with a tension relief, but I used the one from the old can light to make sure there wasn’t any pressure on the cable. It’s bright, dimmable, capable of programming and can change colors! Would definitely recommend!! Update please note, this fixture is very versatile (warmcool white and other colors with customizable intensities and scheduling) but its programmed via an app and requires the internet to retain its programming. We lost power for a few weeks and I had to completely re-sync and set my presets again. A thought for future proofing or whole home installs if the app is ever disabled for some reason, these fixtures would be difficult to control. Additionally, we are getting ready to move and Im taking care to make sure the instructions stay with the fixture so the next tenants will have them and can easily set up. This 4pk Oil Rubbed Bronze Outdoor Landscape Lighting are a definite recommended!! Have never used low voltage lights and have always used solar, however these are such a better upgrade. They work all the time and can be cut on or off which is nice. It is just the lights. You have to purchase a controller and wiring separately. Wasn’t too bad running the wiring in the rocks. We were going to use conduit but just buried the wiring well and nothing ever goes in the rocks. We loved this lighting so much we bought more and will be putting in our front yard as well.
