This is the quietest range hood I have ever used with an unique design. The installation is straight forward for most with video tutorial online that's readily available. I went with a professional installation. This range hood is rated at 1100cfm and the unique design has worked very well. My home no longer smells even when I deep fry. I did two modifications for my installation. I went with a Zephyr 6"-8" duct increaser. The reason I did this is because the range hood is rated over 1000cfm. This might not be necessary but it's a choice I made for myself because of the rated CFM. My installation required a 4" spacer piece. I used 6" 10-32 fine thread screws to secure my upper cabinet to the range hood to make up the 4" spacer difference. This is not necessary according to Fotile but I went the extra mile for $13 more in screws, bolts, and washers. So far I am very satisfied with how quiet and powerful it is. Only the original front plate and end caps need to be removed and recycled. Installation takes just a few minutes and does not require tools or professional assistance. The one-piece design is constructed from heavy-duty 22-24 gauge (0.033 in. thick) galvanized steel, engineered to withstand years of physical and chemical wear. The clean, semi-gloss white powder-coated finish can also be painted using a roller or spray to achieve a custom look. Baseboarders are considered child-safe due to the absence of exposed sharp edges and their ability to block access to the heating element from the top. They can also be installed in new construction applications or in situations where the original covers have been completely removed, leaving only the bare finned-tube heating element.
