The damage is to the visible edge of the drain channel, the horizontal portion that is against the finished tile. Along over 50% of the length is missing the finish. The shipping box is of poor quality, flimsy and was torn in several places. The drain is missing the height adjustable feet and the grate is not height adjustable at all. Without the adjustable feet, it is very difficult to level the drain. The drain channel barely has any slope to aid in rapid draining. The one good thing, was the customer service rep, that I spoke to on the phone. She recorded the details and issued the refund without any headaches.
