On/of switch on handle is ideal also (most irons do not have this). Heats up quickly. Big issue, however, is the nearly-impossible-to-fill reservoir located almost under the handle; iron must be off and fully cool to fill, because you have to tilt it, back end up towards yourself, to fully fill it. I kept peeling the paint off my garage floor no matter what brand or type of paint I tried. I followed the procedures every time, but it started peeling again within a week or two of usage.
