This rug is a good value for the money The color is very neutral ivory and light beige tones. The textured design is what makes this rug look nice. The looped pile is low so it will not show tracking footprints or vacuuming markspaths. I am giving only 3 stars because some spots on the 8x10 rug show places where the woven loops are not tightly in place so it sort of looks like bare spots. It says hand-tufted but not hand woven which usually is a more expensive better quality rug. Compared to many other rugs I considered and looked at in all sorts of price points I ended up settling on this one that is a lot more budget friendly, as we own a cat that likes to scratch things with its front claws! Inspired by a family photo of a Moroccan wedding dress (El-Keswa El-Kbira) this piece is a work years in the making. Engraved in my mind I knew that one day I would incorporate this personal iconic image in my art. My goal was to express the multitude of feelings and memories the dress evokes for me as well a sense of respect and dignity for my heritage. This image represents Moroccan beauty and a culture rich in customs and history. Legacy captures a sense of growing-up in Israel at a time when intra-Jewish racism was escalating and my family's roots needed to be suppressed, and nearly erased for the price of assimilation. After years of living in NYC do I fully understand the importance of celebrating one's authentic heritage, Legacy helped me explore this important question.

Returning from his recent trip to Morocco, Ebern Designs has been reexamining his vision regarding color. The impact on his perspective from the places he saw in the cities of Fez and Marrakesh forced him to step outside of his comfort zone. The resulting pivot has been a harmony of earthy, rich tones of flesh, browns and copper complimented with greens, blues and deep purple.

The color palette is a kaleidoscope of purples, blues, reds, and oranges. Bungalow Rose is committed to investing a stream of ongoing financial support back into the Yuendumu and Nyirripi artist community. For every Ngapa Jukurrpa II artwork sold, a percentage of the sale price goes directly back to the artist. This Aboriginal artwork depicts the water Dreaming and tells a story of two Jangala men, rainmakers, who sang for the rain and unleashed a giant storm. The storm traveled from the east to the west until it reached Warlura, a waterhole to the east of Yuendumu in the Northern Territory. At Warburg, a gecko blew the storm away. The storm continued on, covering the lands with rain and shooting out bolts of lightning, awakening the "Kurdukurdu Mangkurdu Jukurrpa" (children of the clouds Dreaming). The water Dreaming built hills at Ngamangama and stuck long pointy clouds into the ground at Jukajuka, where they can still be seen today in the Northern Territory as rock formations. The water Dreaming continued its travels to Mikanji, a watercourse northwest of Yuendumu, where the storm was picked up by a "Kirrkarlanji" (brown falcon) and taken farther north. At Puyurru, the falcon dug up a giant "Warnayarra" (rainbow serpent). The serpent carried water with it to create another large lake, before traveling on through other locations and eventually arriving at Gurindji country to the north. In contemporary Warlpiri paintings, traditional iconography is used to represent the "Jukurrpa" (Dreaming). Short dashes are often used to represent "Mangkurdu" (cumulus & stratocumulus clouds), and longer, flowing lines represent "Ngawarra" (flood waters). Small circles are used to depict "Mulju" (soakages) and riverbeds.
