Cute bench that I needed for a tight place. I am in and out a hundred times with my dog and need to cross mulch to get in my back door. It is easy to put together lots of wood dowels and screws but it’s solid real wood (pine) but so much better than engineered wood. One bit of advice make sure when you put the middle support divider for the bench and the shelves with the screw holes on top. Other wise your shelves won’t be flat. I would buy again and highly recommend for its simple beauty, quality, and function perfect for small spaces. Slightly better quality that I expected, but I hadn’t thought about the balance of it. We use it for our boots around the property and once it’s out of balance (one pair) it topples over.
