This is a great doormat/ rug. It’s made very well and it’s quite thick and very soft. Feels great on the feet. I got a small one just to put at my front door entry way to replace a different one I had because the other was so hard to wash and this rug is perfect. It’s so bendable and soft it’s great for easy cleaning and throwing in the washer. It washes up beautifully and I just let it hang dry. It has a really nice nonslip backing to it also. Even when it was delivered, all I had to do was unroll it and it was perfect and didn’t have any creases to try to get out. I also love the checkered design / pattern it has. It looks very nice, yet keeps it looking very simple and not too busy so it really does blend in with pretty much everything. I got the beige color and love how neutral the color is. It goes perfectly with my decor. They also have several colors and sizes to choose from which is great. This rug is gorgeous, its a bit classy. It definitely is non slip. I have not washed it. Its tightly wooven so I dont think dogs or cats will unravel it. I bought in brown which is beautiful. I think you would be happy to put it in your kitchen or entrance. The only problem was, it was folded instead of rolled. So its needs rolling both front and back to get the folds out of it..
