It took all day, there were a bajillion parts, screws, etc. and the instructions weren't necessarily in order of what goes next. I like how it looks and functions but wish the area up top was deeper for baskets (of hats and gloves). Maybe if the whole thing was deeper, the bench is shallow. This piece is pretty cute and the size fits my space perfectly. The hooks seem a bit cheap, I can bend the metal with my hands if I really try, but they will certainly work for the intended purpose. My main reason for taking away a star is because all of the visible silver screws. Not a huge deal but this would look so much better if they were painted white or counter sunk with caps.
