Very nice hall bench with storage, pretty much what we needed. However, it was a BEAR to put together (and my husband is super good at putting things together). It took all day, there were a bajillion parts, screws, etc. and the instructions weren't necessarily in order of what goes next. I like how it looks and functions but wish the area up top was deeper for baskets (of hats and gloves). Maybe if the whole thing was deeper, the bench is shallow. So surprised by this! I had low expectations, but it surpassed them! It took me about 45 minutes to out both together on my own. No issues, and it looks great! Perfect height so I can each the top of the cabinet, and the drawers are spacious! I can fit two 13x13 cubes in the bench. I added the small shelf just for more space. Love it and a great price!. Purchased this while it was on sale for $500 and some. I don’t think it’s worth its original price of over $1k. But for what I paid it’s perfect. My front door has been such a mess since we went from a family of 3 to 5 and this has a lot of storage and hanging space. I also love the hidden storage. This isn’t meant for a lot of shoe storage. My husbands size 13 shoes don’t fit well but sizes smaller fit perfect! I’m going to add some peel and stick wallpaper to some of the back pieces and it will make the perfect addition to my home..
