I think this hall tree was a good value purchase. It took about 3.5 hours for me and my husband to put together (he assembled the top, while I assembled the bottom). There are a few little spots that have some imperfections (i.e. gaps), but they are barley noticeable. The bench is a reasonable height and seems sturdy and has held up when me or my husband sits on it, with no problem. I love having a drawer. My front door has been such a mess since we went from a family of 3 to 5 and this has a lot of storage and hanging space. I also love the hidden storage. This isn’t meant for a lot of shoe storage. My husbands size 13 shoes don’t fit well but sizes smaller fit perfect! I’m going to add some peel and stick wallpaper to some of the back pieces and it will make the perfect addition to my home..
