Talked to customer service representative who was wonderful and immediately said the info was sent by the manufacturer to go on Wayfair website and that Wayfair was unaware that it wasn't cast iron. This bad boy is super deep with arm rests on each side and just the right amount of slope to lay comfortably back on my bath pillow. It's also sleek and smooth and easy to clean.
