Still in the midst of home renovations and had to get creative with the laundry room since there is not much cabinet space. These were the only things I could find that fit the measurements but they really aren’t bad. They click in place so building is easy. Didn’t need instructions. Doors open and close easily and hold a decent amount of towels and soups etc. My only set back was that I was under the impression that these could be used separately without stacking them. You technically can but it only comes with 1 lid so if you don’t stack them the other 2 boxes are just open which, for me, defeats the purpose. I have never had a batch disposal before. I have always had the traditional ones that require a switch to turn on. The only real issue (and its not much of one) is with how our sink is in the kitchen island there isn't a good spot to set the plunger when not in use other than in the sink itself. It is powerful and I am really happy how well it does its job. There is no flap that covers the opening to the drain like on traditional disposals. I thought this would be an issue having it open and silverware falling in. With our drain off to the right it really has not been a problem. Although I did have a fork fall into it the fact that the disposals "neck" between the sink and the bottom is long so the fork never fully fell into the disposal it just stood straight up. Also not having that flap covering the disposal makes it much easier to see at a glance if anything has made its way in that should be there. It is noisy but not bad, just as I expected as from traditional. I like the safety of it not turning on unless the plunger is in. We have young kiddos. Just makes me feel better. The metal frame helps keep the cube structured, these are wonderfully compact & sturdy due to the internal support. A bit heavier than products w/o the metal supports but stacked nicely up on a shelf.
