Its a nice cozy rug. The pictures were taken immediately after removing from packaging. the geometric shapes is NOT in black, it is a dark grey. I think some reviewers have mentioned this but i still had black in my mind and was slightly surprised when seeing it. It is a very photogenic rug, the shapes dont appear as clear in person as they do in the photos (might be because of the fuzzy nature of the rug). The tassels are a little cheap looking but okay..
