This is for Mimi's house. My granddaughter 1 didn't have a bed to sleep in here. When we opened the box, and started pulling it out, she started jumping and squealing! I did buy 3 in mattress to go in it as the one that comes with it is thin, that is why I am giving it a 4. Update: this portable crib has gone with me 3 states away to visit my sister. 5 years later, it's being used for my next grand child. This one chewed safety stickers off top rails so I had to remove them all. Keep an eye on that. Some kids will eat 'em, others won't. Overall I am updating this from a 4 to a 5! It is a beautiful color and I love the design of it however once your baby is rolling you HAVE to watch out for the slats. They’re just far apart enough that your baby’s leg(s) can get stuck and it scares me to be out of the room or asleep at night. But that obviously could happen with others too. Just be careful. This crib is the perfect size for my space. I ordered it in natural. If I had to do it again after seeing natural in person I probably would have ordered cherry or espresso. The natural has multiple color variations. It's too late for me to return it. It was pretty easy to assemble. The directions indicate that a screw driver is needed, however everything needed to assemble is included in the package. On the website it says the mattress is not included, however this is one.
