Shope was a founding member of the Cowboy Artists of America and was a ranch hand and cattle driver before becoming a commercial artist in 1935. This depiction illustrates the major economic drivers for Montana in the margins, including trapping, mining, cattle and sheep ranches, and lumber harvesting and milling. I've had this flooring in my home for a few years now. Decided to finish out one last room and realized we short. Ordered two more boxes from Wayfair. They came fast and worked great. This floor is forgiving for most things. It can scratch if you move furniture around carelessly but I haven't had too many issues other than dropping something sharp (a vent cover) on it.
