Cheap. This was supposed to be a white glove delivery. Received an email that it would require too much time to assemble, so it was delivered only. The frame was broken and can't be assembled. It is gorgeous. Looks even better in person. It seems to be a quality piece. I bought two for a house I bought as an investment and they are such a sleek statement piece. needed a floating vanity for bathroom remodel and this one worked as had perfect dimensions. We have to have to modify the interior shelves/drawer to fit the piping but it wasn't a problem as its for a guest bathroom. I ordered 2 chairs for my kitchen. I like that the chairs are made of ash, a hardwood. I expect them to hold up well. The arms and overall style make them very comfortable. One of the chairs will benefit from stain touchups at the joinery point in the back and on the inside of one arm, but these are minor issues. Excellent product, looks great, very sturdy. Two issues: 1) Assembly took a long time, about four hours; I've built a lot of furniture over the years, and this is a surprisingly involved process, and it's extremely heavy when built. This is the first time I wish I had paid for assembly. 2) All the rails needed to be replaced. If you get it, before building, check whether the center axle of the rollers are slightly rough and/or protruding above the wheel, or else the drawers will scrape when installed. Modway recognized the problem (suspiciously) quickly and sent replacement rails, but they're even harder to reinstall.. Hugh. OR. Wed Aug 13 2025
