This is a well made fixture. It's a bit ungainly to install because the arms are so long. I removed the cord and plug because I hardwired it into a wall box. The photos they show beside a bed are deceiving- as many comments indicate, this is a BIG fixture. The provided dimensions are hard to decipher. I measure one arm to be 16" long and the other is 24". The shades are approx. 12" diameter and extend basically that whole 12" past the ends of the arms. So overall length out from the wall would be about the published 34", for the longer arm. The fixture would be about 11" wide, if the two arms were directly above and below each other. The 24" overall height is pretty accurate- this thing takes up a big volume of space with the arms splayed out, as typically would be the case. The shades rotate and I turned one up so I have an up-lite and a down-lite. I taped a piece of notebook paper to the wall in my photos, for scale.. Gregg. MI. Thu Feb 05 2026

Simple, elegant, and practical design: This is a wall lamp with a plug wire with a modern Nordic style. The overall appearance of the lamp is simple, elegant, and decent. Its metal swing arm, mounting base, and cylindrical lampshade are all painted with matte black paint, and the lamp base is made of natural wood. It works, but you have to be intentional about how you mount it. All three joints move in a single direction, so don’t assume you will have the ability to change the direction later on. I have a similar mount-on-the-wall light which allow for more movement and I somewhat expected that to be a standard. Also, you should plan to use a shorter bulb if you don’t want it sticking out. This sconce is really pretty and super easy to install. All of the hardware is included and the shade arrives rolled up. You’ll need to supply your own standard e26 bulb.
