It’s actually STUNNING. I shopped around for about a month to try and find the perfect electric fireplace to put in our front room. I wanted it to be sleek and modern, but have some character and charm well also functional and not looking or sounding like a cheap electric fireplace. I wanted something that elevated our space but was also functional. This does absolutely that. I put it together myself and I’m two months postpartum just to give some context so it was relatively easy and a one person job. I just took my time and made sure to line everything up and follow the directions. It’s heavy but movable. It works like a charm and has a ton of different heat functions and light functions in a timer which I love. The only thing I’m not obsessed with is the crackle sound. I thought it would sound a little bit more realistic, so I don’t think I’ll be using that but it’s fine. It elevated the space so perfectly. I was hesitant about spending this much on an electric fireplace, but I think that going with the higher quality one  over any others that I found or trying to save on price was the right thing to do. We’re extremely happy with the Touchstone Sideline Elite fireplace. The flame looks very realistic and bright, and being able to adjust the flame speed is a great feature. The flame and base color options are excellent and don’t look cheap at all. It’s definitely worth the extra cost compared to cheaper options—this looks and functions like a very high-end fireplace without having to spend thousands more. It added a beautiful, premium touch to our new media wall. It came with a log, driftwood and crystals. So, you can style it however you like. The only downside was the shipping speed. Delivery through Wayfair took about two weeks, which caused some inconvenience. Other than that, the fireplace itself is amazing.
