Quality construction and well built. The drawers are actually drop down doors and there is only 3 on the shorter version that I purchased not 4 as stated in description. I’m actually liking the drop down doors better than drawers as it maximizing space inside a small compartment and the door hinges and soft close hardware are quality upgrades. Fully assembled was exactly that … open the box and hang the unit. Well packaged with plenty of protection from the rigors of shipping … and they got it out for delivery in very short order. Had it in hand 3 days after I ordered. Well mostly in hand … had to retrieve it from my neighbor as Fed-X failed to get it to my door. Overall pleased with the quality of the furniture.. David. Its looks awesome after fully assembled. But to assemble.. it’s some task. Also, we did not get the shiny top as was in the picture…I would keep six hours of work by two people at least to figure out things and then assemble it. A lot of parts need to be connected. But it’s a charm after fully done. The main difficulty we had was to align the two front side doors. Four stars for looks. I couldn't be happier with this purchase. Having this console with fireplace really set the mood and the focal point of my living room. Friends are impressed by it. A few things though - definitely need two people to mount because the drilled holes are extremely precise and I would suggest measuring twice!! I did it myself but I used several jacks to level off and center everything. Also the provided anchors don't seem to be sufficient so I would add additional support in the other pre-drilled holes..
