The carving on the doors in the front is see-through which then can be used to showcase your items. The carving can be seen in the drawer below. The artisan has carved a bunch of flowers on it, but it’s not seen through. This high chest has features like ornamented design, lots of storage, and a sturdy finish that will enamor you with it.

I love the size of the armoire I purchased it for mostly sweaters and purses so I can open the doors and see everything that I own which is very nice I would say the only thing is that on the cutout on the front of the door it's not very smooth the wood is very rough like it wasn't finished like you're used to it being finished and the painting of it is a little rustic but all in all I like the way it looks so I'm happy with the product. I loved the look of the armoire in the photo. I knew there was going to be some distressing on the piece but I didn't expect the level of super shabby chic that it turned out to be. The cabinet is not good quality but passable. Definitely overpriced. I repainted it to get rid of all the chips and dings and touched up the doors where the black met the gold and cream design. The motif on the doors was very sloppily done but likely done on purpose to make the piece look aged. I painted the inside a shrimp color but I don't think I'll be leaving it open for display.
