I have this rug in several sizes though out my house. It is fairly think and well made. The runners and small round one I have do not really shed and have held up great. This is the quietest range hood I have ever used with an unique design. The installation is straight forward for most with video tutorial online that's readily available. I went with a professional installation. This range hood is rated at 1100cfm and the unique design has worked very well. My home no longer smells even when I deep fry. I did two modifications for my installation. I went with a Zephyr 6"-8" duct increaser. The reason I did this is because the range hood is rated over 1000cfm. This might not be necessary but it's a choice I made for myself because of the rated CFM. My installation required a 4" spacer piece. I used 6" 10-32 fine thread screws to secure my upper cabinet to the range hood to make up the 4" spacer difference. This is not necessary according to Fotile but I went the extra mile for $13 more in screws, bolts, and washers. So far I am very satisfied with how quiet and powerful it is. Beautiful high quality rug. It is less dark and more bluish than the photos suggested. We are ok with that and aware that a hand knotted rug may vary. It still surprised us how blue the rug really is. It is very interesting how the white stripes are not achieved by using white wool knotting, but rather represent "missing" dark wool and the white is the backing of the rug.
