I didn't give them a 5 star rating only because I don't think they are made for the northeast. When they did light up they were really pretty, I really liked it when they were lit. The problem is they barely stayed lit for four hours. It would get dark around 430-5pm and by 8pm they were out. Not enough sunlight to charge them to stay onlong enough. These are really pretty and whimsical at nighttime. They should definitely be put in an area that gets plenty of sun to work optimally. The packaging is terrible, however. Both times I ordered them, there wasn’t any outer packaging, just the manufacturer’s box, which wasn’t even taped shut on the ends. The second set I received was missing parts, which had clearly fallen out of the package during shipping.
