This is my second attempt at buying/using an ice maker. The first time I never worked and that’s bc it was a very poorly ventilated mobile home in Florida and the heat was too much. Now, I’m in a ‘regular’ home and thought I’d give it another’s try with this model and low and behold, this thing cranks out the ice non-stop and you don’t need to stand their while it’s doing it but it helps bc you do want to put the ice in your freezer - I used a metal mixing bowl and filled it to the top in mere minutes. I'm overall happy with the cooling power of the fan though you definitely get what you pay for here. The paper filter definitely has a wet paper smell during the first use but that goes away. I added some essential oil to the water and now it smells great every time. Overall it's functional and easy to use, clean, and store when you don't need it. Only true downside, it isn't as quiet on the whisper low setting as I was expecting. It's not terrible, but it is noticeable if it's as closely by you as instructed for optimal cooling.. Bridget. We are loving this nugget ice maker! It is very easy and straightforward to us and I love that you can push the button to dispense ice versus having to scoop it out like some machines.
