Slightly better quality that I expected, but I hadn’t thought about the balance of it. We use it for our boots around the property and once it’s out of balance (one pair) it topples over. Y’all, I’ve had this shoe cabinet 4 years! Sadly, one of the top slats broke off during a cross-country move, but other than that, it’s held up great. One of the things I love most about this cabinet is the capacity. We are a family of nine and have a lot of shoes in our entryway, but this cabinet gives them all a place to live and keeps the area organized. It even fits my son’s size 13 shoes. I also appreciate the wooden slats, which allow the shoes to air out between uses instead of being completely closed in. I really like this cabinet! It wasn’t super difficult to put together just took forever. I’d say it took me a couple of hours. I used a drill and that surely speed up the process. I give it a 4 star because one of the top cabinet doors is rubbing. The doors are a little off they don’t match up perfectly but you can’t really tell from far away. I’m honestly really impressed with this shoe rack! It was a bit of a pain to put together ( I used the picture for reference because the directions were not very straight forward ), lightweight but still sturdy . I love how it helps keep everything organized without taking up too much space. It fits adult shoes, boots, and kids’ shoes perfectly, and the open design makes it super easy to grab what you need quickly. It also made my space look so much cleaner and less cluttered.
